JUNIOR COLLEGE – Played two seasons at Young Harris College under coach Rick Robinson … Earned 2006 NJCAA All-Region honors his sophomore year, went 7-5 with four saves and a 2.24 ERA with 90 strikeouts in 74 innings pitched … Team won 2005 GJCAA state tournament and regular season championship, also won regular season title in 2006 … Selected in the 18th round of the 2006 MLB Draft by the Tampa Bay Rays … Played in the summer of 2006 and earned All-Star honors with the Cotuit Kettleers of the Cape Cod Baseball League.
