Student-Athletes Extend 3.0 GPA Streak to 34-Consecutive Semesters
Student-Athletes at the University of 番茄视频 ended the Fall 2023 semester with a departmental grade point average (GPA) of 3.374, it was announced today.聽This marks the department鈥檚 fourth-highest GPA on record and the 34th-consecutive semester with a departmental GPA above 3.0.
Women鈥檚 golf (3.90) earned the highest team GPA, followed closely by beach volleyball (3.73) and women鈥檚 soccer (3.70). Overall, 16 of 18 teams earned a GPA of 3.0 or better during the fall semester.
The cumulative grade point average for all student-athletes in each sport since they have arrived at Carolina is 3.42, which stands as the second highest cumulative GPA ever for Gamecock student-athletes (Spring 2020: 3.47).

The department named 85 student-athletes to the President鈥檚 List for earning a 4.0 GPA, 177 student-athletes to the Dean鈥檚 List (3.5) and 411 to the Athletic Director鈥檚 Honor Roll (3.0).
Gamecock student-athletes have led in the SEC Academic Honor Roll in seven of the last eight years, averaging 415 honor roll mentions each year since 2015-16.
